Vancouver, BC born trainer Bill McLean now runs a consistent and successful barn at Golden Gate Fields. Bill tells us about his career to date, his memories growing up around horses on a thoroughbred farm in Canada and his experiences training in Canada and the US. 
Golden Gate fields based trainer Bill Delia had a successful career as a rider for 20 years before he started training in 1985. Bill rode over 650 winners as a jockey and has won over 800 races as a trainer. Currently working with a barn of around 30 horses at Golden Gate Fields, Bill talked to Thoroughbred People about his riding and training careers.
